はじめまして！ジェフと申します。2019年4月、日本語学生として、日本に参りました。日本語でスムーズに説明できるように毎日頑張って勉強しております。 来日する前に、フィリピンで日本人にスカイプで英語を教えていました。日本語を勉強しながら、英会話の仕事もしていました。現在、アフタースクールの先生として働いています。 趣味は旅行です。私の夢は生きているうちにできる限りたくさんの場所に行くことです。日本に来てから、色々な所へ行って、日本は思った通り素晴らしい国だと思いました。日本の文化や食事などはとても素敵です。卒業したら、就職するつもりです。日本語能力はまだ足りないと思いますが上手になる為に頑張ります。 私のレッスンでは、学生自身がどのような学習スタイルをしたいかを決めることができます。教科書を勉強したりフリートークをしたりできます。宿題や試験対策（EIKEN, TOEIC,etc.)などもできます。 第二言語を勉強するのは大変かもしれませんが、それは非常に価値があります。少しずつ勉強してからどんどん上手にコミュニケーションできるようになると思います。 クラスでお会いできるのを楽しみにしております。一緒にいっぱい話したり勉強したりしましょう！ファイト！^_^ Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Jeff. I came to Japan in April 2019 to study Japanese. Back in the Philippines, I used to teach Japanese people from grade-schoolers to professionals via Skype. I studied Japanese for two years in Osaka, and while studying, I worked part-time at different Eikaiwa schools. Presently, I work full-time as an After-school teacher here in Otsu, Shiga. I love photography and traveling. After coming to Japan, I realized that Japan is indeed a wonderful country. I am hoping to find employment here after I graduate. For that, I am doing my best with my studies. In my lesson, we can use textbooks or have free conversations. The student can decide what approach we take to learn English. I can also help you with your homework and give you tips for exam preparations( TOEIC, EIKEN, and others ). Learning a second language can be daunting, but I assure you it is worth the effort. As long as you keep doing your best, you will eventually reach your goal. As for me, I am glad that I have decided to study Japanese. I want to share this feeling with everyone. I am looking forward to meeting you. Let's have fun studying English! ^_^
経歴・資格
I graduated with a degree in Accounting Technology back in the Philippines. I possess a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) Certificate and have scored 960 points in the TOEIC exam. I have been teaching English for more than two years, and I have taught students of different ages. I can also teach in Japanese if necessary (2級レベル). I can help with EIKEN and other tests preparations.
お仕事で心がけていること
I love learning more about Japanese culture and meeting a lot of people. I always try to make my students as relaxed as possible. While I value the use of textbooks, I prioritize helping the students improve their communication skills, which is what I think the most important aspect of learning a language.
