Lebanese-American Master Teacher of Belly Dance

I have over 30 years of experience in performing, teaching, choreography, and producing Belly Dance shows and events. I have many students who have gone on to become professional dancers and several of them living in Tokyo and other parts of Japan now have their own schools. I am also a credentialed English teacher with many years of experience teaching junior high, high school, and college students as well as adults. I love Oriental Dance and I enjoy showing others the authentic dance done in a classic style. My favorite is actually teaching Beginning students because I want them to know more about Middle Eastern culture in addition to steps and movements. Belly Dance is a cultural dance and I am half Lebanese, so I like to share my culture with others. I understand the music particularly well. Because I am a trained teacher, I really know how to explain the movements and techniques so that students can understand easily. I think my strongest points are music interpretation, choreography, and teaching performance skills. 経歴・資格
I have won many awards including Belly Dancer of the Year, Miss America of the Belly Dance and Belly Dance Duet of the Year. I have made Belly Dance videos in Hollywood, and I have taught workshops in California, Hawaii, Japan, Lebanon, and Czech Republic. I have a lot of expertise in choreography and producing shows as well. I teach in my home-studio so the lessons are relaxed. Group lessons are limited to no more than four students. I also teach private lessons and do coaching for students at a higher skill levels.

I love Oriental Dance and I am a natural-born teacher, so I really love teaching too! I enjoy seeing my students' progress. It is very satisfying to me when they can do things they couldn't do before.
