I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the United States. I have two grown children living in Cleveland , Ohio. I am an avid antique collector with a particular expertise in textiles of all kinds, a textile artist and a “lifelong learner”. I earned a B.S. in Merchandising/Marketing from The Ohio State University and a M.A. TESL from Kent State University. Viewing myself as a culturally aware global citizen, becoming an English language instructor was a natural fit. I have taught ESL/EFL since 2010 at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio-USA, Dresden, Germany, Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and most recently Tokyo.

My ultimate success as a teacher comes from my students’ successful integration into society thereby reaching their highest potential through eligibility and obtainment of opportunities that might not otherwise have existed.
