Hi! My name is Mayson, I'm a certified English teacher [TEFL] and have been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese for 8 years. My main focus is on building my students confidence and fluency level. I'm very flexible in how my lessons are conducted, so if you ever have any suggestions feel free to voice them. I encourage and challenge my students to talk as much as they can during class. Language learning is a long journey but it doesn't have to be boring. We can have discussions about any subject you are interested in, as for the topics I'm unfamiliar with I'll get to learn something from you too! Aside from tutoring I work as a stage manager [舞台監督] on tours and cruise ships [クルーズ船]. Since I work predominantly in an international environment, being able to speak different languages has allowed me to form friendships with people of diverse backgrounds.
